Coronavirus Temporary Closure

The Ellysian Boutique Hotel and Muna Rooftop Restaurant & Bar Closing Temporarily Amid COVID-19 Concerns

To our loyal patrons and valued guests,

In light of the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, and to safeguard our employees and guests from any health risks, The Ellysian Boutique Hotel and Muna Rooftop Restaurant & Bar are temporarily closing until the end of April 2020.

As of today, March 22, 2020, Belize and The Ellysian remain COVID-19 free and we want to do our part to keep it that way.

We encourage everyone to continue to practice vital safety measures, including covering coughs or sneezes, regularly cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, washing hands (for at least 20 seconds), not shaking hands, and adhering to social distancing requirements from the World Health Organisation, the CDC, the Pan American Health Organisation and other local/regional health authorities.

It’s everyone’s responsibility; with our individual efforts, we can flatten the curve and minimize its spread.

We look forward to welcoming new and past guests when we reopen. Until then, stay safe!

“Let’s be each other’s keeper. Let’s stay at home and rebuild meaningful relationships with family; let’s use this time to set or evaluate goals. It will get better, but until that day comes, let’s prepare.” – Kim Simplis Barrow
