Scarlet Macaw at Red Bank: December to March, you have a unique opportunity to see Scarlet Macaws in the wild. These magnificent birds migrate to southern Belize because of the rich food source in the mountains above Red Bank village. Take an hour’s drive to Red Bank village for a chance to see these incredible birds in their natural habitat, as well as many other colorful species.
